Take 175 years of a small village, throw in some anecdotes, pictures, maps, aerials, and newspaper articles, and you will see what compiler and editor Marion L. Cornett comes up for two local history books. The Fowlerville Chronicles has actually sold out–more may be printed so be sure to check back. Through the Eyes of a Country Editor helps to tell the history of Fowlerville from 1874-1929, through the wit and wisdom of G.L. Adams, editor and publisher of The Fowlerville Review.
My passion is history during the early 1900s and doing research to gain more insight and knowledge prompted me to compile these two self-published books. And now, I’m onto more writing, with the recently-released Juniper and Anise, a fictional story based on events that took place during the United States’ Prohibition Era. I’m working on a companion novel set during the same time period.
When I’m not writing, my day job is commercial embroidery, which I’ve done for nearly 20 years. Love to read, write, exercise, socialize, and be a part of the internet social media.
Born to be creative, loves to write–that’s my motto.
Thank you so much for featuring me and my books here Virginia! I loved reading about the other authors too. It’s always fun to read about other writers, I think. You get a glimpse of their personalities sometimes.
Looking forward to your author event.
You are welcome, Deanie! xo I am looking to our author event, too!
