Storytime with Memaw and Cranberry Eyes

Reading to little ones helps them use their imagination while learning various sounds and words. Read a Book-A-Day to your toddler. Expand their language with storytime by letting them guess what comes next.

This is my grandchild being read the book I wrote, Cranberry Eyes, by her other grandmother, MeMaw. I dedicated this book to my grandchild and she never tires of having it read to her.

EXCITED!!! About my new book Cranberry Eyes, I hope you enjoy it. This is dedicated to my granddaughter. Lydi Lou loved visiting her Grandpa Bob every fall. A long-standing tradition in the family brought her to Maine at this particular time of the year. What did they love to do most during their visit? Grandpa Bob was so funny and made her laugh. He gave everyone in the family nicknames. Take your child on a memorable adventure to Sabao Lake with Lydi Lou and her beloved grandfather. You’ll learn why he names his granddaughter “Cranberry Eyes.” This endearing tale of nicknames can bring back nostalgic traditions from your childhood.

A Christmas to Remember by Virginia Wright to be featured on The eReader Cafe November 21st – ‘A Warm Hallmark Like Story.’

5.0 out of 5 stars A heartwarming romance Reviewed in the United States on September 9, 2020Verified PurchaseAuthor Virginia Wright brings us a warm Hallmark like novel that brings two people together in a surprising way. Shane the man for whom Muriel and his childhood sweetheart are both after but, Shane has to chose which one will he spend the rest of his life with. The characters pull you in this story and they don’t let you go until the novel ends. I highly recommend this romantic novel to all who want some romance in their life. And like the other review I revived an early copy of the book allowing me to delve into it. Virginia Wright has written a great romance.

A heart-warming story of a romance that is full of real life emotions.Reviewed in the United States on September 10, 2020I was privileged to be asked to read this story as it was being written. I was given a chapter at a time to read. Let me tell you, this was hard as Virginia was working on the next chapter at the time. I was chomping at the bit to get that next chapter. I wanted the whole story to read. This story will have you reading into the night to finish it. You have to know whether all the roadblocks that Muriel and Dr. Shane faced were either overcome or insurmountable. A Christmas to Remember will pull at your heart evoking emotions old and new. I highly recommend this book. It truly is a Christmas to Remember.

5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful Christmas/Medical Romance Reviewed in the United States on September 6, 2020I have pre-ordered A Christmas to Remember but was lucky enough to beta-read the story. I can’t say it enough, it is wonderful. Virginia weaved a great balance of a Hallmark-like sweet Christmas story with enough tension to keep you on the edge of your seat. If you ever had a loved one in the hospital, you will know the tension I’m talking about. The backdrop to the story is a charming New England inn. The warmth you feel will fulfill the ultimate Christmas fantasies you could ever hope for.

Author’s first romance novel is a winner!! Reviewed in the United States on September 28, 2020This being her first romance novel, Virginia Wright has captured the essence of what makes a warm love-filled holiday story! A remarkable accomplishment! Having a medical slant, it even provides some very interesting information on certain types of head disorders. Each chapter left me wanting to continue and I read it in only three sittings, fast for me! Has all the makings for an excellent holiday Christmas movie. Are you listening Hallmark? Lifetime? Virginia’s next challenge which I’m sure she’ll slay as well may be her first movie script! :-)

My next work in progress

I’m very excited about my next work in progress as it is a cute children’s story about nicknames. The illustrations are turning out well, and it is going to be dedicated to my latest granddaughter who is now three years old. I’ve dedicated my books to all of my grandchildren and also to my adult children. So, it is always fun for me when I am nearing the end of a new book and then finally get to present my grandchild the book dedicated to them. Coming soon….May 2022.

After that book is completed I am planning on writing a sequel to my romance novel, A Christmas to Remember. I’m equally as excited about doing that.

For all of you following my blog, please stop back from time to time for updates.

Until then,

-Virginia Wright
