Coming soon: MEDICAL ROMANCE NOVEL By Virginia Wright
Hi Everyone,
I just finished my ROMANCE NOVEL this week, and I am pleased to announce that my manuscript is in the hands of my editor. I am so excited…Cue the Happy Dance! We are looking at a fall release just in time for Christmas. My book will make a great stocking stuffer! It will also be a great book for a gift-exchange at Christmas. Hint! Hint! Christmas setting maybe?
As a multi-genre author, I have written children’s fantasy fiction, children’s educational non-fiction, medical non-fiction, even a cookbook. I have never written a Romance novel before…until now! I hope you will love it as much as I loved writing it.
So, you might be wondering what kind of romance novel I have written- from the title of this blog post, you guessed it, a Medical romance, which is a sub-genre of Contemporary romance. The story is set in Maine and a short scene in Boston, and surrounding the Christmas holiday. See why I said it would be a great stocking stuffer or for a gift exchange at work?
A cover reveal will be in the near future.
Stay tuned…
Thanks for following my blog posts,
–Virginia Wright Xx
May Day | Make a May Basket
It is May Day 5/1/2020. Did you ever hang a May Basket as a kid? I grew up in New England, and I did. You would hang it on the door handle of a potential sweetheart or set it on the neighbor’s door stoop. Then ring the doorbell and run away.
If you got caught before getting away, you had to kiss them. And of course, if you had your eye on someone you wanted to kiss, you would let them catch you. TeeHee.
@Dennis Higgins, couldn’t you take us back to the good ole days? You write time-travel books. :-)
I am including a link that I found online to New England.com, to what my May baskets looked similar to as a kid and instructions on how to make a May Basket. https://newengland.com/today/living/crafts/make-a-may-basket/ This year with social distancing due to COVID-19, it would not be advisable to hang May baskets. But next year, you might want to start a new tradition. MAKE A MAY BASKET!
Happy May Day!
Wishing you all well–Stay safe!
