NEWS & UPDATES
For all those who have not gone to my “new” recipe food blog “The Recipe Weekly” I invite you to stop by today and peruse the recipes and articles. At The Recipe Weekly you will find recipes, cooking tips, health and nutrition information and articles, and giveaways from time to time too!  Sign-up for updates while visiting my food blog.
http://www.therecipeweekly.com Having been a food blogger and recipe developer for ten years on The Lowfat Weekly, I had the opportunity to interview doctors, nurses, even Eggland’s Best Nutritionist, and I am bringing all this information over time to The Recipe Weekly. Read more about The Recipe Weekly by clicking here.
To submit a recipe to The Recipe Weekly for possible publication on the website send your Tried & True Recipes to:
recipesubmission [at] therecipeweekly [dot] com.
If your recipe is chosen,  we will contact you for a photo of the dish, or you making it, and details on submission.
Now to the questions Alex wanted us to answer…
and don’t forget to hop on over to someone else’s blog on the list below, after you leave mine.
My favorite genre of movies: Romance –  My favorite movies of all are comedic romance and second would be western romances.
Favorite genre music: Country – Country music is definitely my favorite genre of music. I always feel that the words in country music hit home.
Favorite book genre: Romance – Romance novels of course! When I want to step-away from reality a little bit, romance novels are definitely a pleasure.
Guilty pleasure: Hmm! I’m not telling!!! Tee-Hee! My downfall is sweets…especially chocolate. For me sitting down with a couple of candy bars and a good romance novel or movie is the ultimate in guilty pleasure!
What’s yours?  Let me hear below favorite movie, music, book, and guilty pleasure genre.
Now start commenting!

Friday check back to see who won my swag pack for the blogfest and at the Mama Diaries giveaway!

  2. Hi Alex, Thanks for having the blogfest– it was a good idea (Genre Favorites). I’m new to blogfests, blog tours, hops, etc. I’ve only participated in one other blog hop. Kind of the new kid (Old woman) ;D on the block. Best, – Virginia

  3. Sherry, I was just telling Alex that I have only participated in one other blog hop, so I’m new to all this. I don’t think people are finding me though (only one person so far) as I am way down on the list, #154. I will have to pay attention when I see other’s I want to participate in and try to enter right away. Thanks for having me on your blog as a guest! You did a great job introducing me, and answering folks. I will pick winners on Wednesday evening, and announce on Friday. ;D -Virginia

  4. Thank you, Wesley. I thought my rss feed button was working, I just checked it out and see it is not. I’m sorry. Will have to try and figure that out. Please check out my recipe blog The Recipe Weekly, http://www.therecipeweekly.com. I know diabetic recipes are more what you are interested in, and from time to time I will make a point of posting diabetic friendly recipes. Thanks for stopping by.
