ANNOUNCEMENT |Winners of December 16th Giveaway…

Hello…I know everyone has been waiting for my announcement of who won on Sunday. But first I want to say that I enjoyed all the Christmas memories that were shared. It is so important to go back in time and try and pull out those memories, for me, it is a happy place in my life–and I like to go there from time to time.

I decided I would include a photo of myself, my two brothers, and my sister when I was a little girl, and share one of my memories….

Christmas 1966

A fond memory I had was when I was living in Swanville, Maine as a little girl, looking out the kitchen window, out into the field of darkness…only to see, Rudolph, lighting Santa’s way! That’s right, or we assumed it  was Rudolph,  as we could see a light that only his nose could put off as bright as that, hopping all about in the field. :-) Then a knock on the door…I never saw Santa, but I remember being told it was Santa.  I remember running to hide behind my mother’s apron.  But, I’m certain it was Rudolph!

Now to the questions Alex wanted us to answer…
and don’t forget to hop on over to someone else’s blog on the list below, after you leave mine.
My favorite genre of movies: Romance –  My favorite movies of all are comedic romance and second would be western romances.
Favorite genre music: Country – Country music is definitely my favorite genre of music. I always feel that the words in country music hit home.
Favorite book genre: Romance – Romance novels of course! When I want to step-away from reality a little bit, romance novels are definitely a pleasure.
Guilty pleasure: Hmm! I’m not telling!!! Tee-Hee! My downfall is sweets…especially chocolate. For me sitting down with a couple of candy bars and a good romance novel or movie is the ultimate in guilty pleasure!
What’s yours?  Let me hear below favorite movie, music, book, and guilty pleasure genre.
Now start commenting!

Friday check back to see who won my swag pack for the blogfest and at the Mama Diaries giveaway!
Hugs,
-Virginia
